Back to reality – A life update

Hey guys, I thought I’d fill you all in on what’s been going on over the last month because obviously you’re all dying to know and have nothing better to do (please sense the sarcasm).

Nevertheless I feel slightly out of touch and want to bring people up to speed. I have been home from the U.S for just over a month now, and as always my blog turns into one giant tumbleweed every time I return to university.

This is not what I planned but I am still working on trying to make these worlds mix with each other, it’ll just take time I guess.

On the plus side (in respect to my blog) I’m now heading into my final weeks of the semester before summer, meaning that I’ll be super bored and blogging 24/7, aka you’ll be sick of me by the end of summer.

I’d also like to mention that I still have loads more stories from my Easter adventures to tell you all and will continue to post them over the coming weeks, as right now nothing exciting is happening in my life apart from deadlines and exams. Fortunately all uni related work is going to plan and I’m working my arse off to (hopefully) get this First Class degree I’m paying £9,000 a year for.

That aside in the weeks prior to this I’ve been enjoying the heat wave that has hit the UK, having too many barbeques and spending money I don’t have and getting accidentally sunburnt, always wear protection kids.

I also attended my University Ball this month and it was a really good night. It was surprisingly nice to get dressed up for once rather than dressing like a grungy uni student all the time.

Once again I can slowly feel the year at uni drawing to a natural close, and what an amazing year it has been. Part of me doesn’t want it to end, but then the rest of me is bouncing off the walls excited for my summer adventures. I guess to conclude, I know this post is called back to reality, but exams aside my reality is pretty amazing and I’m so thankful for it.

I guess that’s it for now, but I’ll see you soon.

Much love,

Ben
